Privacy
We collect what we need to sell you a seat and get you through the door. We do not sell it to anyone.
What we collect
When you buy a ticket we keep your name, your email address, the seats you chose and what you paid.
Your card details go straight to Square, the company that processes our payments. They never pass through this website and we never see or store your card number.
What we use it for
- Emailing you your tickets.
- Putting your name on the door list for the night.
- Getting in touch about a screening you booked, if it changes or is cancelled.
- If you tick the box at checkout, telling you about future screenings. Every one of those emails has a way to stop them.
Who else handles it
- Square processes payments.
- Google runs our email, and sends your tickets from our own mailbox.
- Cloudflare runs this website and stores the booking records.
Each of them handles your information only to do that job for us.
If you chip in
When you contribute from the Show your support page, we keep the amount and, only if you give them, your name, email and note. Your card goes to Square the same way as for tickets.
The map on the Visit page
The Visit page shows a Google map. Google loads it, so Google can see that you viewed it. Nothing else on the site loads from Google.
Cookies
This site sets one small cookie so the opening tape animation plays once per visit instead of on every page. It does not track you, and there is no advertising or tracking code on the site.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records as long as we need them to run the shop and keep our books. Email contact@austinvideostore.com and we will tell you what we have about you, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep.
